Shore honors Wakefield business owners.

Jay and Donna Palladino, owners of Greg's Roast Beef, Seafood and Pizza, have been named Good Citizens by the Shore Educational Collaborative for their work helping individuals with disabilities. The Palladinos hire Shore workers to form hundreds of pizza boxes each week for their store located at 389 Lowell Street in Wakefield. Presenting the award is Lisa Pratt, Shore Collaborative's Procurement Manager.

The Shore Good Citizens award recognizes area businessmen and women for their commitment to providing meaningful work experiences to people with disabilities living and working in Wakefield and surrounding communities. The Palladinos have been strong supporters of Shore workers, praising them for their "dependability, thoroughness and professionalism."

Shore Educational Collaborative operates work programs for adults with disabilities in sheltered workshops, located in Wakefield, Peabody and Chelsea. Services include clerical, light assembly and packaging. For more information, please contact Lisa Pratt at 781-224-3466.
